Sanctum is the world's first FPS tower defense game and is set in a beautiful science fiction world. You take the role of Skye, an elite soldier sent out to protect her hometown, Elysion One, from hordes of mysterious alien creatures. To facilitate your success you construct defensive structures and upgrade handheld weapons. Jump right into the fray and wreak havoc with your own weapons - unlike regular tower defense games, you are a key part of the defense. Sanctum has taken the best features of first person shooters and tower defense games to create something totally unique.
New Features-video up! We also want to thank you guys, because without the community Sanctum hadn't been what it is today!

Hi everyone, and thank you! Without you, Sanctum hadn't been such a cool game as it is today. Without the community and all the good feedback and response we've been given we had never taken the big step to decide to make this game into a full commercial product! We're very happy we did take that decision today, as the feedback we receive from the beta-testers is awesome. Most people seem to like the game, and we're thrilled! There's so much we want to do, and so much more to put into the game that it all feels kind of overwhelming. The Steam forums are blooming with topics about new features, bugs and ideas, and we think it's great that you guys help us out with making this game into the diamond it soon will be!
There's even a wiki being put up. Go check it out!
At the moment Coffee Stain Studios focus on getting the final things fixed up for the release on next Friday, and we hope that you all will help support us by telling your friends and families about the game :)
If you are blogging or tweeting, please help promote our game by mentioning it! It's not easy being an indie developer, but the new ways of distribution, marketing and communities give us a good shot.
To celebrate, we're releasing the next video in the "Sanctum Features-series".For you who already got the game this might feel like overhead information but forthe rest this gives you an idea of what kind of monsters you're about to face.
Thank you again! Keep your fingers crossed for a great release on Steam next Friday.
