Sanctum is the world's first FPS tower defense game and is set in a beautiful science fiction world. You take the role of Skye, an elite soldier sent out to protect her hometown, Elysion One, from hordes of mysterious alien creatures. To facilitate your success you construct defensive structures and upgrade handheld weapons. Jump right into the fray and wreak havoc with your own weapons - unlike regular tower defense games, you are a key part of the defense. Sanctum has taken the best features of first person shooters and tower defense games to create something totally unique.
Sanctum has been updated yet again with new content, this time getting ready for the coming 4-player patch!

We're happy to say that Sanctum has been updated yet again with more content. This time the patch includes a new multiplayer map, Facility. Facility is a bigger type of map that is divided into four areas where you can construct towers. Players are challenged to utilize the walkways between these areas to their full potential, providing valuable time to take down the invaders!
In addition to the new map the game has also been updated with a new score screen with even more fun-to-know statistics such as Number of teleports, times tackled, favourite tower etc.
This not only fun, you can use many of the statistics to improve your play and see where you went wrong!
Another huge update is the addition of a list of coming waves.
A lot of people complained that they would suddenly be overpowered by a very hard wave. The Wave Planner gives the player the ability to look forward at the coming waves, making planning your defense so much easier!
A few new achievements have also been added. Some are a hunting quest while others have you exploring the map to find secret rooms. Will you be able to open the door?
