Saigo No Hoshi is a 2D Sci-Fi Role Game, is made by a little group of people with lot of passion, talks about a boy, who works in a spaceship called "!D.T.A.", the capitain of this spaceship is Desert, he was a very good capitain, but one day, Desert was infected by a virus, created to provide a better performance in battle, they discovered that causes the destruction of brain cells and thus leads to madness, the protagonist, that he has the virus, since it was present during presentation with Desert, he rebels to him because he was becoming evil and runs away from the !D.T.A., its goal is to stop Desert, which wants to destroy the entire galaxy. You will "visit" lots of planet and you will try many times to kill Desert but unfortunately is harder than expected.
Saigo No Hoshi is an RPG, the Battle System is very simple, you can attack with your sword or with your guns, and you can use a set of abilities like "Fire", "Thunder", "Blizzard", "Water" or something else, every ability take a bit of energy, you have to set a strategy to use carefully abilities and attacks, if Lucy is fighting with you, you can tell her what to do, if to attack, to protect, or to use abilities, every second in battle is very important, and then, you can choose the difficulty, i suggest you to don't play with the first because the battle will be very very slow. :)
Now you may be asking:
- But if you already relased beta version (even if it looks like an alpha) full of bugs and you only have to fix it and add secondary missions!
I have only one answer for this kind of questions:
- Saigo no hoshi deserves better...
I use MMF2, a 2D engine, and the "3D" that you see in Saigo No Hoshi is nothing more than flat "already rendered" images with "already rendered" backgrounds, It would never become a great game, I can't move the camera, I can't create a large-scale landscape, I can't create good cutscenes, is not realy the kind of game that people like... but don't worry, I plan, in future, to create an "HD" version (of course with a new engine, maybe Unity3d or any other 3D engine), with new models, new environments, and with a faster and more epic gameplay...
What I mean? Senso have tripled reflexes, and the fights with Desert should be a realy fast flurry of blows, rather than a slow, boring, turn-based battle...
So I hope someone will stay tuned because meanwhile I'm working on another game, that you will see soon :)
I admit the superiority of Fake Blood's Fight Engine, so I'll use it for additional missions of Exploration mode.
