Team Excalisoft will be exhibiting their project Sagramore, a webbased 2D (M)MORPG, at this year's indigo showcase in The Netherlands.
We will be one of 26 indiegames on Saturday the 14th of May 2011 in Utrecht Neude 5 (Dutch game garden office). We will have a playable version of the game ready for everyone to toy around with (with our latest graphical revision) will be available. If you're coming, be sure to drop by and give us a hello and feel free to test/criticize/love our game while your at it.
Getting ready for the show
As the event is nearing we are doing some final updates & fixes to the game. We do run into a few kinks here and there but it's looking good and ready for the showcase! We got most features ready that we wanted to get in so we will be able to show our visitors a full walkthrough with introduction quests, trading, shops, character customization, battle mechanics, skills and much more. Heck! I even put in a few easter eggs here and there ;p.
This event marks the start of our public involvement as we will soon be bringing out a public demo on the website. Although there is currently already an old playable alpha version available on the website.
Indigo showcase
This showcase event is still very young, being hosted for the second year in a row. where last year was already a great success, the games in the line-up are looking a lot more spectacular for 2011 then last year. I myself can't wait to be snooping around the many interesting video and boardgames. You can't help but notice the dormant talent around there, with many promising titles, who knows, the games you see here might one day be published by EA. If you yourself are a true gamer and live within reasonable travel distance of this event, don't miss out on all the jewels on show there ;)
Near future
After the indigo we plan to get more people on the team and put more pressure behind the development of this project, you can expect to see a lot more of us in the time to come.
