Conquer, rule and manipulate the Roman Empire with the ultimate goal of being declared as the "Imperator" of Rome. Set in a time when the mighty Roman Empire emerged to conquer the known world against powerful enemies, when gladiators fought to a bloody death in the Coliseum; when Spartacus defied the might of the empire; when Hannibal led his invincible army and his war elephants across the Alps to strike fear into the very heart of Rome itself; and when Julius Caesar finally smashed the Barbarian Gauls. This was a time of brutal confrontation between civilisation and barbarism, and of civil war as the ancient world's only superpower turned on itself.

Q1: Out of all history in mankind, I think the one in the medieval era, especially the third crusade. The feeling of a zealous army taking the holy city, fighting for the god, chivalrous fighter facing each other and some fell to some trick. There is really much interesting things from both side in that war.

Q2: I think i would like to go back to era when rome is still a city state and italy is not yet united, barbarian still roam in countryside, in sea there is the mighty carthage fleets, and to the east pyrrhus and the greeks keep spreading terror and invasion to the italy. If at that time i'm rich enough, i would perhaps enlist as hastati, or if i'm poor velites would do. I just really like the history of rome.

Answer 1: Because I really like ancient Rome, I'd say that's my favorite age period. There were a lot of wars, and my favorite I read about are the Punic Wars, specifically the First Punic War. I was always fascinated by their military and architecture.

Answer 2: As mention above, I really like ancient Rome, so that's probably what time period I would go to. And not only because of Rome, there was ancient Greece, that spawned great philosopher, scientists for that time, many barbarian factions and so on. That time period stuck with me since I was little.

Answer 1: It has to be western colonization of other lands. It is really interesting how all those indigineous people found out that world was actually way bigger that their imagination and how they thought westerners were very different from then but then they found out that they were not much different and it was actually many times their own traditions that held them back.

Answer 2: World War 2. To see how people went so insane in such a short time and bought all the hatred, racism fully as if they learned nothing from back history.

1- between 11th and 13th century in Iberic Peninsula. Maybe more when the Kingdom of Portugal was formed (1143).

2- Early Medieval ages, 12th century when the Kingdom of Portugal was being formed. I would love be one of the nobels following D.Afonso Henriques (Portugal's first king) or being the king himself. he was fighting two larger kingdoms at the same time, Kingdom of "Leão e Castela" (there was no Spain, what is now Spain was divided in 4 kingdoms) and the Muslim Caliphate. i've always seen myself as a commander of large armies, a ruler of a city, but of a city of multiculturalism and turned into science, basically the best city i could form at that time (Medieval). i would want prosperity and peace and happiness to my people

I think WW1 is my favorite,why?
cause all the empires that were so powerfull, fought each other, and it could have gotten in so many ways

Question 02: If you could have traveled back in a time period, where would you have gone and why.

i think before the napoleonic wars
Why?cause i could meet so many skilled generals and soldier, and i could be teached by them(if they want)

1. My absolute favourite period of war is the Gallic Wars with Caesar at the helm. They're arguably one of the most INSANE wars ever in the history of wars^^

2. If I could go anywhere/anywhen, I would probably go meet Caesar right after he finished the civil war, and have a long conversation about his true vision of the republic. What can I say, I love the man :D

Question 01: Of all the war that have been since the start of the age of time and all the way to now. What age period have been your favorite that you have read/watched/played about?

My favorite period when it comes to military history is probably the ancient age. There have been incredible tactical feats all throughout history, (such as Fall Gelb in the Battle of France), but I haven't ever found anything that topped Hannibal encircling the romans in Cannae or Caesar turning numerical inferiority into an actual advantage in the Battle of Pharsalus when it comes to military genius. About this age I like Rome Total Realism VII, a mod for Rome Total War, the better. I think it is the most realistic representation of it.

Question 02: If you could have traveled back in a time period, where would you have gone and why.

Quite a difficult question to answer, but if I had to chose one among all possibilities I'd say France during the Revolution and later the rise of Napoleon. I would love to smell the change and the hope in the air and see the ragged armies of citizens march against the monarchy. Although I have to say I am torn between this and seeing the Charge of the Light Brigade in the Battle of Balaclava. That must have been a funny, if tragic, thing to watch. Probably the French Revolution, though.

1. I think it has to be the Late Middle Ages.

2. If I could traver back in time, I would go to Italy during the Renaissance. The reintroduction of roman arquitecture, and a growing interest in art and philosophy, the formal creation of science (as it is known today) makes the period interesting by itself.
But, if I where to travel back there, I would use modern ideas to unite all italian states and form a kingdom/empire/republic. After reading Macchiavello's Art of War it always seemed like a possible feat.
