Description
This modification brings Rome - Total War back to an earlier era, the year 549BC to be exact, while keeping the fundamentals and feel of the vanilla game. Extract the file to your desktop and follow the included readme.

Really good mod, it's great to have a vanilla feel to a mod when most try to completely overhaul the game, though there seems to be a problem where hoplites are invisible from a distance which makes fighting as and agianst hoplite heavy factions quite tough
