It's time for another Rogue Republic news update! I would first like to apologise for our apparent inactivity, I can assure you all that the Rogue Republic team has been working diligently behind the scenes to bring the game to fruition. Hopefully we will be able to bring you more frequent updates from now on. As for the games progress thus far, Russian and Intermarium assets are now approaching a playable state as can be seen from the rendered images added to our site recently.

We have also included the eerie Intermarium theme in the updates of the past few days, make sure you check that out as it's well worth a listen.


Along with the renders and music we have concept art. The concepts that have been added focuses on the EU as that faction is still underdeveloped in comparison to Russia and Intermarium.

With that said the EU is now making good progress and should be rapidly on the heels of Russia and Intermarium.

"As the new concepts designs that have appeared over the past few months have been mine I thought it might be a good point to introduce myself. I'm the games dedicated concept artist, Javmango. I wasn't checking your groups for a while, so a couple of days ago I've seen that you are going to replace Il-76 with Bartini's VTOL. Does it mean that Russia will get a futuristic look too? I'm not a "Imma Russian" idiot or something like that, but if it does mean that at least one game won't show Russia as a stone-age faction with cold war era soviet tanks (Like it goes with RoTR) then you will warm my and every Russian player's souls a bit. Thank you very much.
Yes, I know that Bartini's VVA-14 is actually a cold war era child, but his creations look very futuristic even now.

our feature is that we show a non-Soviet futirized Russia. We've made a lot of modern-era vehicles, but some of them are a subject to future change and eventually the faction will be infinitely far from Red Alert cold war clich├ęs :)

Many thanks, glad to hear that. RoTR actually doesn't show Russia as an old-era faction, but gives is a pretty high tech style. But some aspects just destroy this "high tech" style like T-64s. It's 2025 year, Russia could make enough T-72s to replace all the old T-64s' reserves at this point. Butanyway - nice to get such a change of style. I have nothing against klukva, but this Soviet Russia style is totally overused.

How will be the Turkish technology at this game ? Turks will be weak faction at this game ?... I am asking because noone bothers to write even a comment about Turkish faction at this game ; and there is really less information about Turks.

I am from Turkey and I am a Turk ;so I wonder so much how will you modify the Turks at this game ? thanks.

Great Turan aka Turks have been put on hold due the amount of time it would require to make compared to the amount of interest the community has shown .By that being said they will be the first faction to be made after we are done with he curently 3 factions we are working on .If by some miracle we get a modeller willing to work on Great Turan(atm for each faction we have members from those respective contries working on it ),only in that case our plans might change.

I can give good ideas for Turks(Turkish) vehicles-buildings-soldier-technologies etc.but I don't know how to model :/ ( that's the problem really, I know how to code at robotics, C++, and java only ) .

You might find a modeler for Great Turan hardly really. As you said too , community is more interested with other factions :((.
