This year marked the arrival of a joint Russian-Chinese colonization probe on Vostorg-7, a probe dispatched a very long time ago - in the early 21st century of Earth. After a long interstellar odyssey, it finally reached the unforgiving yet potentially habitable planet. The initial dreams of forging a unified spaceborne human nation were soon abandoned, as differing visions for utopian societies took root. Instead, seven independent human colonies emerged from the cosmic dust. While most of these colonies succumbed to rapid deterioration, with their inhabitants mutating into otherworldly beings or descending into feral lifestyles amidst Vostorg-7's unforgiving terrain, two colonies stood out as bastions of Man’s determination - the Derzhava and the Planet Cult.

The short version is that after the cold war, the U.S. and U.S.S.R. collapsed and all went to hell together.
I hope you still want to implement the US later on, or else Im only going to be playing with Russia and Intermarum most of the time, and Turan when I want to go a little GLA. ;)
On a side note: A nthern coalition between Norway and Iceland, calling themselve "Free Europe Initiative" might be good for a little out-of-way, non-arabic, foreign terrorist/military activist group. I would definatly play them.

I dunno. It would be great to have US as a multiplayer or skirmish faction, but I don't want to see them in the main plot. It's not like I hate US or something like that, there is just too many games that are concentrated on America and it's wars. Let's give other countries a try too and make something different from typical "China/Russia/Iraq/European Terrorists/American traitors start WW3 ---> US saves everyone."
Make something different. The last strategy without US that i remember was Chronostorm, that was about Chinese-Russian war in the future.

Hungary allied itself with Great Turan to regain its former possesions in Eastern Europe, while Great Turan needs Hungary as a foothold deep in the European soil.
And what about asians? Since there is no any asian superpowers, I'd like to read some lore about it. For example, what happened to China?

Why Karelia is drawn with another color then russian?
Why defuk Belorus and Ukraine is a part of Polish imperium? There's more chance of Yugoslavia reborn, then Ukraine and Belorus become part of Poland.
Also, what is "Caucasian Imamate"? If it happens, then it is no Russian anymore, and this won't happen.
Then, why Abkhazia and South Osetia is drawn as part of Georgia? If so, then why Kosovo isn't the part of Serbia?

Just a little note.
As a citizen of Kazakhastan I would like to admit that it would be better to divide Kazakhstan on 2 parts then. One goes to Russia, and another one goes to Great Turan, because that's what the political situation here is.
