Hello,
it's been nearly a year since our last post, some of you may think we are dead. Nothing more wrong!
The past year was not as productive as we expected, however we are now back on the right track. You can expect a lot more activity from our side this year, we really want to make this game as good as possible.
We're starting today - you can see the new, updated ModDb page right now, also our official website is now live, aswell as Twitter and Youtube channel. You can expect a whole lot of fresh content coming this year, this inludes new screenshots from the game, actual gameplay videos, trailers and other kind of media.
Now, you're gonna ask - did anything change since the past 365 days? Yes. In fact, what you've seen in the first teaser trailer, aswell as first screenshots, was a very early version of the game which was supposed to attact people's attention (since we needed more people in the team). Since most of the jobs are filled, we've taken the game quality to the next level. You was able to saw first quality update last year, when we released a comparsion screenshot. Today, you're going to see another part of this evolution.
We've decided to cut some of the game features and add other features instead, but the storyline remains the same. And no - it's not another mappack where you're playing as Freeman escaping the City 17. Action of the Resurgence takes place in the same universe as the Half-Life 2 does, but it doesn't mean the gameplay will be the same. Believe me, we did our best to make sure the story will be immersing.
Speaking of game development, some people have joined our team, while some have left mainly due to lack to free time. Right now we're looking mainly for Voice Actors aswell as Programmer / Coder. i know someone who have nice skills for voice acting im gonna talk about this mod to him keep it up guys , when just came up resurgence i was just expecting an other half-life 2 mod in the hl 2 universe without any changes about gameplay and stuff but having a new story , now i read this news post im damn exited for new updates keep it up guys brofist from France !
btw the name of the voice actor is Firestreak
