The World has learned the meaning of terror. A decade after the events of Raccoon City, the evil Umbrella corporation has been destroyed but the effects of its horrific creations still linger. Now, Agent Chris Redfield has been sent to Africa to investigate reports of a new, more dangerous outbreak. Joined by his new partner Sheva Aiomar, both must work together to discover what's really happening and stop whoever is continuing umbrella's evil legacy.

I just wonder if there's a way to disable the controller in-game. It changes control scheme according to the last device you touched. Which is bothering me because I'm trying to make the joystick act through keyboard inputs so I can actually customize the controls, and not those goddamn presets.
So it is possible to customize your controller. The config lies in the same folder as your save game(s). It's at the bottom of it, you have to change which buttons on your joypad (1,2,3 and so on) should correspond to an Xbox360's. For some reason RE5 didn't recoqnize button 1 on my controller as button 1, so I had to experiment till I had found out what the numbers for the buttons were. Tedious. But it's possible.
Changing the axis proved difficult, when I got the aiming right (up was up, left was left), it'd be wrong when not aiming.
Bleh, in the end I just decided to go with mouse and keyboard.
Oddly, the Dx9 lets me use xfire with it, but Dx10 doesn't
Even more stranger, Dx10 barely lags and have a better fps than Dx9... Which lags in benchmarking if i use high graphics overall...
DX9: Texture Med | Overall High | Shadow Low
FPS: About 15 fps average and lower...
DX10: Texture Med | Overall High | Shadow Low
FPS: About 20 fps average and maybe a bit higher...
I have a decent laptop that can play this. It's like a custom HP ProBook 4510s with additional things added to it.
Anyone know how to change the crosshair while aiming [PC version]? I prefer the laser sight..The crosshair, I just don't like it.
