Focusing on the Battle of Stalingrad and surrounding operations, Heroes of Stalingrad allows the player to experience one of the most brutal battles in all of human history. For the first time ever in a first person shooter gamers will be able to experience WWII from the Axis side in a German single player campaign. As always with the Red Orchestra franchise, Tripwire will aim to deliver unrivalled accuracy and attention to detail, along with gritty, vicious combat in multi-player, co-op and solo modes.

Red Orchestra 2 will be completely free (forever), if you get it on Steam within the 24 hour window. (Offer is available only on 23rd, April).

Following a major free update yesterday -- that included a plethora of bug fixes and added two new vehicle transports (among many other things). Tripwire interactive has decided to give away their WWII First Person Shooter for absolutely nothing.

Red Orchestra 2 differentiates itself from other FPS games with realistic gameplay, and highly encouraged team-play. Red Orchestra 2 received a Game of the Year award from PC Gamer in 2011. The offer is only available Wednesday, April 23rd.

The promotion hasn't started yet. Unless you live in a country that's ahead in time-zones.

Steam Store updates around Noon (12:00pm), check then, and make sure you tell all your friends.

Damn, I must had misintepreted the message or the rules changed because I was certain the game was free to play only for a few days.

Still, I dislike WWII games so whatever.
