Red Alert: A Path Beyond brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1996 classic, while integrating content from its expansions Counterstrike and The Aftermath with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3d engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it is FREE?
i haven't even played it yet, but i still give 10!
A very fun game!
Great game. These people are porfessionals who don't get paid. They are true game-makers, keep up the good work!
As someone who greatly enjoys FPS's I feel like this game deserves a 10/10. Yes, the current public build is lack-luster (no, really. It is); however, as a member of the testing team, I can whole-heartedly say that the next public build will really step up everything. More strategy will be involved in almost every portion of the game, but it will still be relatively easy to pick up and do well in. Don't let the outdated engine and graphics fool you, the game is very much a load of fun. 10/10 fun.
I think it was well made, highly detailed and it keeps C&C alive.
Great game which feels just like the original Red Alert!
A Path Beyond is true C&C nostalgia in a full fledged, meticulously crafted mod. I love the brilliant crew that made this!
Such a great game nice to see that someone has made a classic C&C game into a FPS.
This game is an amazing FPS style game
