Red Alert: A Path Beyond brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1996 classic, while integrating content from its expansions Counterstrike and The Aftermath with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3D engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it's FREE?

What if I were to tell you that Gamma has an ongoing development of a new gameplay mode, Domination? If you haven't heard of Domination-style gameplay, think Battlefield. If you aren't sure what Battlefield is, well, listen up, here's what we're doing.

Basically, there will be several points on a map that you can capture for either team. If you capture a point, you will gain points for your team at regular intervals, as long as you are able to hold the point and defend it from your enemies.

The map under consideration for this new mode is North By Northwest, because it's mostly symmetrical and we feel it'd make for a good trial run. This hasn't really been tested by the testers yet, but they'll get it and give us feedback on it.

Anyway, here's how our Domination mode works.

--All points start out neutral.
--When a player nears a neutral point, it will be instantly converted to be under the control of the team of the player who approaches it.
--At this point, the point will have a guard spawn, like so:
