[REC] Shutter is a horror game where you must progress through levels while avoiding the paranormal and solving puzzles. The story will progress as the player goes through the levels. This Game will not only focus on his recordings but even on his story and his life. You take the role of a reporter named Connor, which will be reporting Penny hill a dark hunted asylum. You will be equipped with the latest equipment; animated camera which includes night vision and a shutter effect. Filming every action you take and taking screenshot's of paranormal activity. Game will include feature's like fear, stealth, investigation and much much more.
Once playable I'll rate the gameplay.
I found this game pretty fun and scary although the slowness of the character made me angry haha. You can watch me play/review Shutter here: Youtube.com
Don't expect it to be a fair "review" if even a review but it was still fun to play and rant a little here and there.
Review forthcoming, but not here. At an actual website...
awesome game deserves an 8 out of 10
-good camera POV idea
-cheesy "whatever-that-"thing"-was" effect but still "it" frightens you
-nice horror feel to it
-it's actually really thrilling
i love the game!
1 thumb up!
Not bad but you move SOO slowly and game is over in 10-15 min.
cool story bro
no the best horror game but it was ok
THe game was ok but the movement is atrocious. I got jammed on those stupid doll stand things for like 20 minutes and they wouldn't move. Then when the guy came out the TV the doll piushed me then the guy chased me and killed. Obviously the dolls prevented me from moving very far.
This game is pretty good due to the experiences most people would have if they were to play the game. It's a good horror game as it has hallucinations of some weird monster in it and achieves the goal of scaring the person playing. One thing I think would have made the game better would be if there was more of a campaign as I have finished the game multiple times over and also that there should be more outcomes that get the player killed for a better challenge seeing as there is only two ways of dying that I know of where you open a door and a monster with spikes comes at you and kills you or when you get to a room that has three containers with pills and if you choose the wrong one, you die.
It's a good storyline and scary but the controling could be better especially to walk through the puppets. And maybe having flashlight would help much more. Nevertheless it's a great game.
