Reaction Line is a minimalistic, hardcore, single-player game where you have a single objective: sort lines into red and blue stacks as quickly as possible. The catch? You only have one life. The mechanics are simple to learn, but the game is hard to master. Do you have the hand-eye coordination and quick thinking skills to tap your way to the top?

The mechanics of Reaction Line are simple: players must sort a randomly generated stack of red and blue lines by their color by tapping as fast as possible on buttons at the bottom of the screen. While these controls are extremely easy to pick up quickly, players find themselves having a hard time mastering the gameplay as making a single mistake will immediately end the round, triggering a surprisingly satisfying and slick animation sequence where all of the lines suddenly fall out of their once-ordered stack and slowly begin to fall off of the screen.

Conversely, in the rare occasion that a player is able to complete the stack in a respectable time, the now-sorted lines fly back up the screen, showing the player the fruits of their labor with an extremely fulfilling win sound.

The game comes pre-loaded with three game modes to choose from: “Timed Mode”, “Infinite Mode”, and the infamous “Evil Mode”:

  • Timed Mode requires the player to sort a stack of 100 lines in the fastest time possible.
  • Infinite Mode allows the player to go as far as they can as long as they can keep a fast pace.
  • Evil Mode is similar to Timed Mode, albeit with a twist—every tap flips the colors of all of the lines in the stack, requiring the players to think quickly about which button to tap next.

Players are also able to compare scores with their friends through Game Center, and share with others via seamless integration with Facebook and Twitter.
