The game isn't being supported anymore, and the interface is still hard to use. I'd sugest you buy it when devellopment has continued.

This game lets you build any kind of robot you can imagine. You can program every part using a visual editor. Definite learning curve but so satisfying if you put in some time. The worlds are spherical. I haven't seen that since Ratchet and Clank on the PS2. It has a little arcadey look to it, which is actually much more appealing to me than a strict physics simulation, but the physics are so good right now.

This is just alpha. The list of stuff this game is going to get means it's just going to get better. It's been a long time since I felt this good about a game. Very exciting stuff.

I even shelled out $30 on the devs' site. I am going to buy another copy on Desura in preparation for when multiplayer is put in the game and can have our own little LAN games.

I admit - I got excited just making an elbow joint mapped to the keyboard and making a trailer for my little rover to pull around. There are some people making incredible bots with this game. One day I will make a giant elbow bot and smash them :D

I've bought a lot of games no Desura - around 85 I think - and this is my #1 even in pre-alpha. My only concern that it may turn some people off with the learning curve and lack of menus right now, so come back in a few months and hopefully building will be easier for more casual gamers. The potential for this game is as high as I've seen yet on Desura for a game. The future is bright for this one.

--------------------

Update - Just picked up my second copy for $10 on Desura. I love this game. The $30 I paid on the devs' site was money well spent. This copy is highway robbery. No multiplayer yet, but I'm ready when it is implemented.

-------------------

Talk about versatile robots - There are swimming, flying, driving ones that people are making. I was working today on a dual rotor Chinook helicopter. It needs a lot of work and maybe a total redesign, but this game has me thinking about it when I am not playing.

This is not a game at all. At best it is a prototype. It is FAR from even being close to being ready. This should be free or not listed at all. it looks nice graphically and it is easy to see it holds alot of promise. But this needs ALOT of work. At the moment it is a waste of money to pay for something with so little substance. Even if the dev means well. Work on it and make a kickstarter or something. Then give this as a bonus perk to doners.

Since i feel riped of, with the version that we get here, i se that it is writen what you get on the front page, but that you get all the stable builds excludes you from all the other things.
Fix your eangle on this.

Ok i have tested out the prototype we get by buying her, and its crap.
You get a car of sorts that you can drive around with on a small globe, nothing happens there.
You can dismantle and put it back again but you dont get enny other parts..

Is false advertaising, to get this and the things you se in the video and pictures, you need to buy the early access version for 30$, so if you want to play the game dont buy this.

This is for version 0.0.1 playground.

TO all of you that have put in 7 or more points, i guess that you are playing the early access version, and not this crap demo.

When there comes enny updates here i will change my review acordently..

I have bought on desura many alpha and beta titles, and this is the first one i wanted to get a refound off.

rating 1-2.

This is for version 0.0.10

Mutch better controls and better handling, easier to figure out what to do.
Now if we can get som real area to play with not this little ball, then it starting to chape up..

Rating 4 now

keep up the good work.
