Incredible robot sim. The game is already amazing in this under-developed state, and it will only get better. What really boggles my mind is the versatility of the parts. You want to build a lunar lander that can travel through space from planet to planet? I did that yesterday. Want to make a dragonfly that actually flies? Go ahead and beat me to it. If you like robotics, design, maybe a little architecture, or just like awesome robots fighting, building, exploring, mining, even terraforming, the…

This is not a game at all. At best it is a prototype. It is FAR from even being close to being ready. This should be free or not listed at all. it looks nice graphically and it is easy to see it holds alot of promise. But this needs ALOT of work. At the moment it is a waste of money to pay for something with so little substance. Even if the dev means well. Work on it and make a kickstarter or something. Then give this as a bonus perk to doners.

Hmm, so kind of like a modern Roboforge, except that you can control your robot? Sounds fun. I'll track this for now :)
(PS: Would love a linux version ;D )
Now I found out how I can open the console on a german keyboard. I have to press the ö button, which has nothing to do with tilde or the key under Esc. In my opinion it's not so good to sign a central function to a key which is different on every keyboard layout, so that you have to search for the equivalent key.
There are already a lot of games on the market ignoring the fact that different keyboard layouts exist.
I hope you fix this.
But besides that, I like your game more and more while I'm working me in.
Robot :D 2015
just bought the game on desura, works great through wine and been enjoying it so far! like the console interface, still figuring out all you can do, but liking it alot. is there a way I could upgrade this license to the early access $30 on the site? also, if I use that one, would I be able to get the game on Desura once it's complete as well?
used to watch that battlebots show a while ago, so this is a nice treat :) plus a programmer, so the level of detail here is impressive
I second this, getting access to more parts and updates would be nice ;)
Taking to the Dev, they didn't expect so much interest in the 30$ version, they are trying to figure out the best options and probably we will see the chance to upgrade the account.
They are also at work to create an easy to use interface for the visual programming part and a lot of other things, this is just a pre-alpha so... This game is going to be a masterpiece.
Thinking about buying myself. Can you please say how many parts are already avaible to play with in the Desura version?
All the parts listed here: Rawbots.net and something more.
You have to spawn them with the "spawn" command, the GUI for the visual programming system is a work in progress.
thx
how to reset Playground ?
