Hey Everybody, i'm back with the difficult second album. Kinda not really. This week i've been working on the pathfinding and last wednesday i released a video about the new pathfinding system, so now i have the working demo of the pathfinding ready for you to try now.

So this week i didn't get an awful lot done because the pathfinding has been a real pain and incorporating it is being just as tricky. There are still a number of bugs and they are really starting to annoy me. But at least the pathfinding algorithm works.

I made a little trailer for the pathfinding demo:

So as i promised, here is the link to the pathfinding demo in all it's glory: Dl.dropbox.com It is not intended to be a full pathfinding system  but simply enough for now. I will also use this as a tool for testing out new movement algorithms in the future.

A Face-Off between an Ant Dude and our Brave Hero.

So in conclusion this week hasn't been as productive as i would've liked although this  is mainly due to a severe case of Minecraft addiction, which isn't great for productivity. This week i'm hoping to incorporate the pathfinding system into the game and get it working properly, so far it works but with a lot of bugs. I'm also hoping to polish up the framework so it'll be easier for me to add content, and i'll be fixing a few more odd bugs. The big thing this week i'll be doing, is hopefully making a new scrolling menu.

Here is the to-do list that's left:

Procedural Dungeon Generation - Done.
Inventory System - Done.
Procedural Item Framework - Done.
Loot - Done.

Enemy AI - Done.
Scrolling Menu - Not Started.
Crafting/Forging - Not Started.
Stairs - Not Started.
Survival Stats - Not Started.

Thanks once again for reading and please remember to track,
Jordo.

Cool to see things are moving along :) sorry I haven't been on skype due to unforeseen screwups I've been rendered internetless at home for a couple weeks.
