Hello All, once again i'm here to tell you about what i've been doing in this past week, except this time it's the last 2 weeks i'll be telling you about.
Firstly i've got the survival stat system up and running, although the game is turn based, the survival stats are realtime and i'm interested to see if they will work alright, there are three bars, strength; which depends on how much rest our brave hero gets, and food; which, obviously, depends on how much food our brave hero gets and Morale which depends on both of these but i may change it in the future.
Also i've been working to improve some general aspects of the game and tidy some code up, i've managed to fix the bugs with the pathfinding system and i've improved some other elements which still need large amounts of tweaking. the game is now almost completely bug free although it'd be nice to begin to balance out gameplay as well.
I also began work on the new menu system and it's at a working stage but i'm not sure if it will suit the game, but i will be working on it this next week and hopefully incorporate it into the next news post. I will also be working on incorporating stairs between levels in the next week.
This week i have also made an addition to the list; levels. Levels for our hero, enemy, and items to add depth to the experience and with any luck make it a bit more fun. So to recap, here's the To-Do list:
