Hello everyone!
We've been hard at work on a new, free objective based game mode called "Get To The Chopper." The objective is simple, the mercenaries must rush from point to point until they reach the extraction point where they can be rescued via helicopter. The dinosaurs on the other hand, must prevent the mercenaries escape. As the game mode has just left beta, we have updated it with two new maps and a launch trailer!
The first map comes in the form of a conversion of “The Falls” (A fan favorite Team Deathmatch map) into an all new Get to the Chopper themed adventure.

The other map, “Ruthless” is a new Get to the Chopper exclusive map set high up in the foreboding mountainous peaks of the Island, remember to dress warmly, it’s set to get cold blooded up there.

This brings the total number of maps for "Get to the Chopper" to four.
"Get to the Chopper" also features the Spinosaurus as the game mode's new and exclusive dinosaur class.
As an added bonus, we have also added in a free Battle-Scarred T-Rex skin to celebrate the release of the final edition of "Get to the Chopper."

We hope you've enjoyed this update! We've got more news to follow soon.

A fun, creative, original game. Only $15 too, which I consider a steal. It even managed to break free of the curse of dinosaur games, and I consider this one of the best in that category. If you haven't bought/played this already, I highly recommend it. The look of the game is stunning. Of course, anything made in UE3 will, but I have to say, LWM's Narlyteeth and his crew did an exceptionally great job with the models. Windebieste did a great job with the maps. The animations? Breathtakingly realistic…

Will this have bots and LAN support? Also will we get the SDK?
And how big will the maps be? Will we get a whole island maybe?
A single player campaign would kick ***!
please release this for ps3 and Xbox eventually we need this game!
Loving the Carnotaurus. Kinda hoped it could camoflage like in Michael Crichtons "The Lost World".
You read that book too? I like the book several times better than the movie. The movie just had too many plot holes, and had little comparison with the novel that it was based on. I still like the movie, but the book was even better if you ask me. The Carnotaurus was one of my favorite parts as a matter of fact! I can't believe that wasn't in the movie!
yeah, book was way better then movie. although i did like the t-rex in san diego
I also have another question. Will this game include bots? I always preferred playing against bots rather than actual people because it makes the game more evenly matched (you know what difficulty the bots are set at, but you don't know when you're playing against humans).
Here are my personal thoughts on this trailer
1. I'm very happy to see Carnotaurus made it into the game, however, what happened to Compsognathus? Was it to small and had to be cut?
2. Pyromaniac looks awesome too. I don't usually picture a guy with a flamethrower/chainsaw fighting dinosaurs, but he still does it in an awesome way.
3. I cannot wait for this game!
The compys are removed until a later update with the game after release. At-least, that's what I recall. Don't quote me on that.
I'm trying to comprehend what you're talking about. It's hurting my brain. #1: Their dino's look nothing like the ones from Jurassic Park. The T-Rex wasn't reddish in Jurassic Park, it was brown for female, and greenish for male. #2: The Velociraptors in the game are based off of Deiyonochus, similar to what Jurassic Park did. Raptors never had wings, but yes they were feathered, but again if they were modeled off of actual Velociraptors how would anyone find a 2 foot tall, feathered dinosaur terrifying? The ones they have now capture that feeling. If they were flying about that would just be stupid. You may be thinking of Archaeopteryx which was a theropod dinosaur closely related to birds. #3: Dilophosaurs were actually 4.5 feet tall at the hips in reality. The game is portraying them fine.
Plus, dinosaurs look like dinosaurs. That would be like saying someone shouldn't have a squirrel in their game because it looks like a squirrel.
