It's a painted-over screenshot. Valve does this with almost all their games to see how concept art will look in game. That makes it 50% in-game, and 50% concept art, which adds up to 100% awesome. :)

I know this comment was two years ago, but still. It was taken in game portal 1 (chamber 13) but it was brought into a photo editing program and made to look overgrown. So technically both of you are right, but Aleon has the better half of the arguement. (as said in the comments from two years ago. So this is a pretty useless comment)

rightfully so chap but your forgeting, she got taken away into a capsule which she stayed in stasis for 100 years and maybe thats the reason they are taking so long to make it because trying to make a event like that to happen is gonna take a fuckload of time and i just realized i just got off topic of what you are saying...
