So throwing while in a hurry equals bad aim. Stalking in on the pokemon while hidden and aiming equals good aim? No fair for when you're battling it and don't want to battle it to the end.

Seems superfluous. A quick, short, 'Team Rocket is blasting off again!', styled glint and sound effect seems more adequate to show a fully charged pokeball.

I like the new player model, but the textures. His hair looks like corn rows. Some changes are needed there. And why did you decide to go with softshading? That kinda clashes with the celshading of the pokemon.
Howdy again, old friend. Thanks for the critique! The "cornrows" are fixed, and the character(s) have been given outlines for some subtle consistency.
As for their being hand painted, it's to set them apart from the Pokemon and keep the humans closer to home while the Pokemon retain their fantastical elements.
On a side note, I noticed no objections to the energy ball, hah. Wonder why that is.

I had figured you just liked the look of the soft shading. Like whydo the humans need setting apart? But I guess you just wanted to give me some fancy explanation right. :P Anyway for me I thought the celshading was fine like before.
I personally think there's enough commercial developers (for example latest couple of dbz games) who are using soft shading because they think it adds "next gen" detail. While I don't agree at all it adds detail. It actually takes away from the cartoony feel the cartoon characters should have. Same thing for pokemon characters.

Oh I see in title a new Oak's Lab and new map. I think it will be better game and it's can't be otherwise

New one will be replacing the old ones, and a new female model is going to be made soon.

We're in the process of reworking the catching system, and this just sort of happened. 99% sure it won't be used for EVERY time we toss a Poke Ball, but I think it'll show up here and there ;)
This is just an idea, but instead of making it appear at random times. I was thinking, let it have a function. Something like if you hold the button in longer it will go into pokeball Z and then either increase your power and/or distance and/or accuracy when throwing the PbZ.
thnx Xatoku pk gen is awesome the only thing I ever slightly disliked about it was the projectile attacks but I am getting used to them
