As a game developer I know which even the games which doesn't have ultra 3d graphics and such are very complicated to do; Planet Stronghold manages to at least in my opinion, succeed at the game genre it proposed to supply. The demo version kept me playing with attention, the combat system is allright, the open RPG nature of this game absolutely charms me; you can choose whatever you see fit for you play style, and develop your character and his team(nice interaction with the game characters too…

Great demo good looking game. But I really cannot pay this much for this game. This is an A list price, wich this game definately is not.
As I said, just add to the watch list, since I know not everyone wants/can pay the price, and just wait, I do regular sales :) thanks
My ONLY problem with this game, is the price...it is VERY overpriced. I understand a lot of work going into something and you should be proud of that, but...that's pretty expensive for an indie game.
Well I do regular sales, so all you have to do if you think is expensive is watch this space, next time I do a sale will announce it here too.
Hey, instead of that, since there is a pretty big outcry that this game is really expensive, you could do a price drop. As I said, I played the demo, loved it, but I will NOT, as long as I live, pay close to 30 dollars for a 2D RPG game. It's insane for ANY indie developer to expect people to pay that much money. That's no way to make money or have people have a positive outlook on your company: "Not enough money? Well man if you sit here for 4 months or so, I MIGHT drop the price. Not saying how much, it could be 2 dollars for all you know!" I'm pretty sure I speak for 90% of the people here when I say, I don't want to, and will not, wait 4 months for a price to POSSIBLY drop by an undisclosed amount on an INDIE GAME. People will just find something more cost effective to play and completely forget about this. Like I said, I like the game, but when most of the comments on here even MENTION the price, you might want to consider the consumer.
I have to say, I normally avoid indie games (I'm not quite sure myself to be honest, not the point here, ahem), but after playing the demo, I was quite impressed. There's not enough Sci-Fi RPGs out there in my opinion (good ones at least), so finding a game that I actually enjoyed playing I'm rather excited. So as soon as I come up with some money, I'm probably gonna pick this up, good job!
Yes I agree, I made that game exactly because I wanted to see more story-based indie Sci-Fi RPGs! I'm already planning the sequel BTW :-)
taking a quick look it reminds me of Phantasy star, a game i loved back in the day :)
To be honest I never played that one, even if I heard the name ^_^;
I do regular sales of my games, so maybe watch this space in future :)
