It is the year 2287, one of the first colony ships sent out by Earth arrives at the planet Maria, in the Epsilon Indi Star System. During its landing sequence, something appears in front of the massive ship that causes it to lose control and crash into the planet. Some of the colonists survive in lifeboats, but what they find is an unforgiving land filled with creatures ready to outlast the visitors from Earth. Now the survivors must explore, gather, build, create, fight, and ultimately, conquer the land.

Hey everyone, it's been a while since we've updated here. We've just been way too busy getting to the current build, which is now at a0.72. A lot of new features have been added since the last update, you can read up on them here: Planetexplorers.pathea.net The game development is going pretty well, we've had some technical hurdles, but so far, we've been able to overcome them.

The demo features the grassland area in the story mode and the entire build mode. For people that has trouble running the game, make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date. If that doesn't help, change the opencl calculation option from the gpu to cpu. 

If you like the demo, you can get the full alpha version of the game by preordering on our website: Planetexplorers.pathea.net We plan to release on Steam Early Access probably late next month, I'll have more on that next week.

Suggestion 00: When the people stand still, they look very rigid and unnatural. So many things in the game look so natural and right, so I figure the people should too. But maybe instead of a simple fixed posture, you could have in the character design their 'idle posture' or whatever. That could be neat.

Question 00: Are you still aiming to make this mac-friendly some time?
Question 01: How much will the game cost? Will there be a demo?

Hi, I'm just on the verge of supporting this project over on Kickstarter. There was one minor annoyance and I wanted to ask here where it seems many answers will be answered quickly, which is a good thing :)
Will we be able to harvest resources with just one click of the RMB in future versions of the game? It is rather tedious having to hold the RMB or clicking it repeatedly whilst there is just one single animation going on. Thanks for the answer :)

Honestly, I don't know. If we could, we probably will add such an option, but it might screw up a log of programming logic.
