It is the year 2287, one of the first colony ships sent out by Earth arrives at the planet Maria, in the Epsilon Indi Star System. During its landing sequence, something appears in front of the massive ship that causes it to lose control and crash into the planet. Some of the colonists survive in lifeboats, but what they find is an unforgiving land filled with creatures ready to outlast the visitors from Earth. Now the survivors must explore, gather, build, create, fight, and ultimately, conquer the land.

Hey everyone, it's been a while since we've updated here. We've just been way too busy getting to the current build, which is now at a0.72. A lot of new features have been added since the last update, you can read up on them here: Planetexplorers.pathea.net The game development is going pretty well, we've had some technical hurdles, but so far, we've been able to overcome them.

The demo features the grassland area in the story mode and the entire build mode. For people that has trouble running the game, make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date. If that doesn't help, change the opencl calculation option from the gpu to cpu. 

If you like the demo, you can get the full alpha version of the game by preordering on our website: Planetexplorers.pathea.net We plan to release on Steam Early Access probably late next month, I'll have more on that next week.

evenlly will enemys starg attacking your base and strucgures(since haveing turretw wont mean nothing unlivess you have enemys)

Some are shared, most are not. We're adapting a realistic world into a game, so animals will also adapt to their regional surroundings.

Some are like that, others are more substantial. I think the number of substantial sidequests will really depend on our Kickstarter numbers.

Well, we're still learning to do mixed animations, so I won't say the animation will be better in the next build, but the game will use less memory.

We don't have a lockon feature at the moment.

No blood, maybe in a patch. We'll have other hit effects going on.
