I'm having problems getting into the game. I started and finished the tutorial, but then when I wet to the real world, I get stuck on the load and after a few minutes the program shuts down. Now whenever I try to get on to that character (my only one) I get stuck and I don't get into the game. I have been able to get into the tutorial world with no problem, but other than that, nothing. I would suggest that you email the developers since it sounds like a problem with your account on the real world server.

BUG: Putting a space in a First Name results in "First Name must contain more than two letters" regardless of letter count.

spaces aren't allowed in names. we'll clarify the error message.

Just made a character, and upon trying to join the server, the bar shows everything loads, but then the entire client just closes. Ideas?

Actually just noticed a little line at the top of starting the client, it says "could not load plugin 'crystalspace.sndsys.renderer.null'".

what platform is it?

I am having an issue getting PlaneShift to install. It downloads almost all of it then it throws the error "All server connections failed" I try to click on the console button but nothing happens. I tried to run it from the console but it throws no errors there either. I am using the open source desurium due to the regular desura crashing all the time with no errors. I am running crunchbang 11 64 bit. I tried deleting the files on the disk and have it re-download but that did not help.

I will try with the regular desura to see if this issue persists in that client as well.

I apologize for the double post, but yes, the problem persists in the regular desura.

I have same problem.
My OS - Linux Mint 14 64-bit

Still broken, for months.

Support is telling me to use the standalone upstream package, so it seems they are unable or unwilling to fix this.

In both cases it should be removed from desura then, no offense about that, but that's better than having a broken version lying around. That's how software redistribution works. Try to fix it, if that doesn't work, remove it.

Well it seems a chunk of the file got lost by desura (after some months) and i didn't know about it at all (only affecting 64bit linux the rest was working fine before I've uploaded them again). anyway now it's all updated to the last version and working again.
