Hi and hello everyone from IndieDB~!

Here's another update of the Pale Blue: a WIP of Ellen's Fire Breath animation~

As for today’s stream, we have tons of fun~! It’s our first time being live on the stream, but it’s a really pleasant experience for all of us. Gonna do it again in the near future…Do you have any suggestion for the time? We planned to do it on the final countdown of the campaign (which is Thursday morning PDT), but we could also try to arrange for an earlier one.

First off, deep apologize from The Hand Man (dang, my nickname got changed after the stream xD) that we forgot to record the live stream… So there’s no documentation on it :( I got a little too excited and miss the settings for recording the whole stream. Gonna remember it for the next time, though! ;)

Today’s stream featured four main topics: the team introduction, a play-through on the mock-up, live drawing session, and an informal Q-A session with the dev team. We utilized the chat section for viewers to ask a question and the dev team answered them. It had a little delay, though, as we couldn’t make it a real-time one. There were lots of interesting questions; Thus, we’re going to list it as an FAQ on the main page.

There was nothing special on the play-through (aside of I got stuck during the time-bound mission and had to retry the stage all over again xD), but we hope that it’s going to give better view for those who are new to the game :)

The live drawing session - ran in parallel with the Q-A session - was much more interesting. Mukhlis a.k.a Sinlaire drew an Ellen’s form: the Wyvern. During the session, there were lots of interesting stuff, with the Baby Shark being highly discussed. It refers to the stuff from the broken tube on the list of stretch goals (on the Update #12). Some of them even wanting a plushie of it (as well as a 36-inch plushie of Ellen). Some suggested that we should have an octopus for the next stretch goal. (What kind of tube is this? An aquarium?)

From the video it seems really good and fun to play, keep up the good work !

The jumping system seems like it would need a rework as you can access platforms above you really easily but you seem to struggle when trying to reach a platform in front of you.

The character would need a wall jump, doesn't look like one is implemented yet, I really like how she climbs walls though :P
That could lead to some infiltration missions maybe? Or sneaking ability?

The combat seems really good but it would gain to be slightly more fluid or accelerated? Right now with the video, it seems the character has a break between each attack and you can't chain correctly to avoid this momentum?

Anyway, great job and since it's a mockup, you probably already know all that :) I'm in a hurry to see how the charcter will evolve, the different abilities and so on !!!! Can't wait !!!
