Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience. Read More...

Custom Music in Therium-2

Thanks to Halzoid, each level can now have its own custom music because of a script (but not every single level will have it, most levels will still have the default soundtrack which already works very well). As previously mentioned, Grindgrain has made some great custom music for Therium-2.

I'll be uploading a few tracks that Grindgrain made, and if Anton (from the Wolfire forums) gives me permission, I'll be using some tracks that he made for Overgrowth a long, long time ago. I'll also upload a few of those here, so you guys can see what the custom music in Therium-2 will be like.

All of them will be in specific situations, so a really difficult stealth level will have a more tense soundtrack, a boss fight would have more intense combat music, all that. Peaceful levels will also be much more settle, relaxed and the sorts.

I just downloaded and played the demo, I actualy love it, it has a gripping feel to it, damn you people using the slaughtered family hook! :)

Ofcourse there was one thing that I'd liked to have been in there...
Wall-runs! Do you guys think you could add a parkour/freerun movement style, it doesn't have to be the primary style of move, you just have to be able to switch to it, like in assasin's creed.

Other than that, I enjoyed it very much, espesially the fighting.

I Can't wait to see what this game will be like! Good luck all!

I'm pretty sure he was referring to part one of this game(Lugaro, thats the correct spelling i hope). The "Slaughtered family" happened in that game and mentioned "cant wait to see what this one is like" tells that he has not played Over Growth yet(meaning there is no Over Growth demo yet).

One of my favorite companies! I played the original Lugaru and Black Shades and loved it! A great martial arts game with respectable technology behind it!

also, if you're going to have multiplayer, allow players to choose to team up or fight so you can have versus and cooperative in the same place.

Well they haven't announced the development of multiplayer yet, but they say they will have it and that co-op is easier to implement than versus. So expect at least co-op in the game.
