Single & Multiplayer Adventure
Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience.
The Open Dynamics Engine have been used for some basic physics in Overgrowth for long, for the character and camera collision to be precise, but that changed recently.

In the latest Alpha you can press 'B' to spawn blocks with physics (powered by ODE) and then use right click to drag the blocks around.
Soon Wolfire will start working on a physics editor where you'll be able to attatch a model to a set of physics primitives with various constraints to give them physical properties. This means weapons with physics, scenery with physics and ragdolls.

beautiful! this project is just so awesome. great work. epic progress.
Really cool.
Looks really good, this game will rule.
As always, beautiful.
Ah! Nice! :D I liked the older music though...
This music has a nice, calm feel to it. It fits well I think. The other music would have been too heavy for this video.
Don't worry, we have a lot of music ;)
Physics are always the most fun. Throwing lunchboxes from the sky is awesome ;).
I like the music very much.
It kinda reminded me of the Final Fantasy Soundtracks.. they were great, too. And your soundtrack fits perfectly into the game, I guess. :P
Nice physics, crap music.
Nice physics example. Excellent work...
I hope for good ragdolls a swell.
Lugary got some nice ragdoll effects. It was unique for fighting game. Especially indie fighting game.
Very awesome looking, this looks very promising. The test blood video was probably my favorite though, that looked very good along with this. Keep up the great work.
