Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience.

Aubrey designed a couple of Overgrowth wallpapers yesterday. Check them out!

Some of our fans have made some great Overgrowth wallpapers and Wolfire wallpapers. I thought it would be cool to make some Overgrowth wallpapers of my own but I wasn't really sure what to make. I looked at a lot of cool video game wallpapers online, and came up with some designs I liked.

I have a really messy desktop, so I don't like anything that is too busy or high contrast. I thought about doing some more realistic looking images, but settled on this more sketchy look instead:

I will probably make some more Overgrowth wallpapers in the future, so it would be great to get feedback. What do you like in a desktop image? Feel free to post links to your current wallpaper.

Also, here are some variations on the wallpapers above:

The first one with the Overgrowth logo moved

The second one with the bars removed(permalink)

More character related wallpaper in the background can make it look more interesting, especially if you have a army against army kind of thing (archers, warriors, assassins, etc.)

Man, these wallpapers are amazing! They definitely beat my DD Productions wallpaper out of the park. I definitely agree on the conceptual sketchy art over the realistic, even though they would be great either way. Yet, I do agree with Dra6o0n about having more characters in the wallpapers to give it more of a feel for the game. Nevertheless, keep up the good work!

No, more characters/ lots of action is nowhere near as effective as a few solid elements, especially since it's a wallpaper.
Make the logo more modest though (;
These are great!

The rabbit in the first one looks cool as hell. If the game models looks as badass as that rabbit I will cry with joy.
