Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience.

I have been working on a few different things for Overgrowth (which you can preorder here) as I try to work out some of the smaller level design and character creation details. One of the more interesting things I have been doing is remaking Lugaru levels for Ovegrowth so we can better identify anything missing from the Overgrowth core gameplay.

Be sure to watch it in HD!

I am really happy with how the levels are turning out, and I am looking forward to elaborating on some of the lessons I learned in the future.

I hope everyone had a great holiday break!

Watching the remakes of lugaru levels is simply sweet.. speaking of that, time to play a bit of lugaru.. kinda miss it, hehe

Thanks for the update ^^

Sorry for being a bit lazy (should post this on the overgrowth forum, not here), but since i'm here now, gonna ask/suggest here:

- Once the game is complete and ready to be released (in the long, long months ahead), please add (if possible alot) of these art assets. Perhaps as a free bonus for all early adopters or evan if you prefer a little bonus for yourselfs, as an extra for us to buy.

Cheers, keep the good work,
-CW

I was drowing on actual paper and then scanning and editing my drowings in Photoshop - then strokes properties and picture are looking alive (but don't remake strokes with brush tool and mouse). When you're drowing new pic with mouse and brush tool even very carufeuly you can't make picture looking alive because strokes are wrong.
After i learned how to use "line tool" and then "warp tool" to make lines looking like strokes i don't need scanner any more and drawings are better than "actual paper ->Photoshop" :D
Actually i can remake draft paper drowings in Photoshop with line drow and line warping - very nice way to restore bad paper strokes :)
I've experimented with touchpad on notebook - strokes are nice, like on "drowpad" xD

LOL. I have buggy headphones with inline microphone and change track/accept call button,so i have to keep "change track" button to hear developer's talk... Else i hear only music and fight sounds from Lugaru/Overgrowth XD

It will be a good idea remake the Lugaru´s campaign, and will work like "this is the tutorial for play Overgrowth". ;)
