Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience.
Really like the feel of the concept art...
Will this game be stylized in the same manner or are you going to do the models in a more realistic tone?
looks ******* great <3 would love to see teh game in the same style =)
It's Turner! :-D
Damn look at those hooks on his feet!
This guy is badass, amazing concept art and I like the style of the waves for some reason too ;)
It's Watership Down all over again!!!!
*screams in terror*
no, I said that to my mom, when she asked about this, and she said THIS IS NOTHING LIKE WATERSHIP DOWN, YOU DON'T SEE RABBITS ATTACKING EACH-OTHER WITH KNIVES, SPEARS.
wow... is it alright if i make this my avatar for other stuff?
btw... i am so totally getting this game... afer the awsomeness of lugaru, i can't help but go for the sequal.. especially one like this.
No offence, this looks great and all... but the head just doesnt suit very well, the body resembles an almost human like form while the head remains unchanged, and still looks kinda inocently cute... just kinda ruins the intimidating fierce look its hoping to achieve...
Could i maybe request a alternative concept?
Maybe he only looks cute because he doesn't have his game face on, he's just looking at some pretty waves in the ocean.
Their heads should also remain as animal-like as possible, making their heads or faces look too human would ruin it. After all, these are anthropomorphic animals, not humans covered in fur.
