The fight for survival is on! OverDose is a class, team & objective based multiplayer game set on a post-apocalyptic Earth. With gameplay in the tradition of classic games such as Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Enemy Territory, melded with up to date gameplay mechanics and movement, OverDose is a unique blend of online action, team play and of course, lots of gore. Using id tech 2 as a base, OverDose features updated engine features like full real time lighting and shadow mapping, physically based rendering, particle and physics simulations and more. Plus, in classic id Software tradition, our engine and game are fully moddable and scriptable, meaning even amateur mod makers can bring their own creations to life with ease. This isn't war... It's an all out apocalypse!

As you all know, we recently changed to a new SVN directory, so if you are still trying the old Q2E one, chances are you will of course notice you cant update OverDose. The latest SVN also includes new SDK maps for your testing and information needs. These are intended to be bare bones but still with enough detail to show you how certain functions are done in OverDose editing. Please update your SVN (Link available on request to anybody willing to work on or test OverDose), and then contact me for the last build of the game engine and .dll's.

In other news, work on ODRadiant is going great. We recently made a lot of UI changes to make it all a lot cleaner and perform a lot faster. It just looks better and works better now. I'll keep you updated on this, because pretty soon we will get a beta out for you all to try and break.

Anyway, I'll leave you with a small secreenshot of good old Mr. HellKnight getting a tan in one of our SDK maps. Please remember that while we may show Doom 3's media in some screens, we never intend to release them to the public. They are there for the sole purpose of testing, and will never be included in OverDose. We have a new modeller onboard now called Dinkymod and I spoke to him over Thanks Giving.

He's a great lad, very nice, and he's working on our character models, so soon you will all get what you have been waiting for... A chance to see OverDose in more detail.

As always, check the forums for the latest and best news, and produce feedback and support if you can!
