After uploading one article every week since New Year's, we've now published the last Letter of Ovelia. Big thanks should go to Rufus Tronde, who've been holding the pencil (or, really, keyboard) for the Letters as well as for the game, Coilworks concept artists Henrik Karppinen and Poi Poi Chen. Thanks also to Jacob Lincke who made the musical score we attached to Part III: Fragments and is also composing music for the game.

To browse them all, go to the "Features" section or click any of the links below.

Part I: Corporations

"What is a corporation? Some would probably say the answer changes with the times. After all, 200 years ago, some people viewed corporations as being about money, or at the very least that money was a prerequisite for their existence."

Part II: The Breakdowns

"To understand our history, we need to understand how and when these changes happen. It's strange to our present sensibilities, imagining that 295 years ago, by the turn of the millennium, ‘breakdown' was something that happened to your car, to a single machine."

Part III: Fragments

"Angelica, do you know how cold war can be? I've told you much about the importance of understanding the technology of the past, but I also want you to understand the past itself. Let me tell you about cold war."

Part IV: Information is Power

"Studying the works of Dr. Adams on gravitational technology and Sun Tzu's on the art of war has saved my life more than once, but did these people ever exist? Or are they just legends, which we attached these teachings to?"

Part V: Lift

"Leaving my duties as a chief gravitational technician has been a difficult decision, especially as I believe people do not adequately value the work being done here. However, the romantic ideal of serving the public diligently even at the risk of my own life isn't one I really feel I can embrace any longer."

Part VI: The Sky Cities
On a city doomed to fall, who would open their eyes just to see it? And who would rather fight for a lost cause than avoid the sight?

Part VII: We Call Them Wakes
"I have no idea if this was a name they gave to themselves, or if it was intended as an insult to begin with - it's hardly imaginable that anyone would identify with a wake of feeding vultures."

Part VIII: I - Dare
We end the Letters of Ovelia-series by revealing the game's protagonist with three character concepts and the words "Strike, I'm not going to lie to you."

We're also very happy to see we've through this series grown from 9 watchers to 100 and managed to hit the 6th place of 10 most popular games! Also, our peaks have gone from Rank 130 by our first article to Rank 17 by this one. However, as you may notice, there's still a lot to say and show of (and even more to not say or show) the game, and we'll be gathering questions to answer in a few weeks. After that... well, time will tell. ;)

Big Thanks!
The Coilworks Team
