"Otherside" is a 3D platformer game with a unique puzzle mechanic reminiscent of the Rubik's cube. The project is being developed by a group of game design students attending the Vancouver Film School.

Report article RSS Feed Milestone 1 accomplished!

For the past three weeks we've been working non-stop to finish our Milestone 1 target deadline. Just before Christmas holiday we received some impactful feedback that convinced us to revise our core designs. It was quite the challenge, and we lost a bit of our momentum in the process, but we have a better, more intuitive game to show for it.

So here we are, 3 rough months into development, ready flash our feathers at IndieDB.com. If you take a look at our latest level walkthrough posted before Christmas break, you`ll get a rough idea of how far we`ve come since then.


Three weeks of work later, here we are at Milestone 1:

By the end of this weekend we aim to have a new video of the updated game as well as a playable demo to share with the IndieDB community.
