Orbital Gear is a multiplayer shooter where you utilize the gravitation of celestial objects to give your mech momentum through space. Arm your Mech with two of the twelve different weapons to destroy your enemies. Orbital Gear features classic multiplayer gameplay with new mechanics and 3D graphics.
In the final version there will be four different mechs available and twelve different weapons to make use of in your battles with your opponents.
We have classic deathmatch as the basis for multiplayer pandemonium but we also have our own special game mode called Orbital Warfare, a siege mode where you do battle with the opposing team where the goal is to destroy the opponents base. Destruction is ensured either with your mechs weapons or by charging your doomsday weapon with energy cores, collected from fallen enemies.
Orbital Gear is now available on Steam!
We are still working with the development of Orbital Gear and getting a lot of input from the Beta. Although it is still some work left to do until we are ready for release, the basics are in place.
In the newest release of the beta we finally added Orbital Warfare, our team based gaming mode where the objective is to destroy the opposing teams base. This can be done either by killing enough opponents to charge up your super weapon, or by destroying the opponents base with your standard arsenal of weapons.
Apart from Orbital Warfare we have also been working on some other cool features that will add to the gameplay in general, such as the ghost planet shown here:
We send out batches of new beta keys from time to time, so sign up here if you want to join in on the fun!
