Open-Source reimplementation of Westwood’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert game engine, updated to use the hardware acceleration of modern video cards using OpenGL and OpenAL for sound playback. It runs natively on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The game was designed with modifiability in mind, but is not identical to the original. Campaigns and mods made for the legacy game won't work out of the box.

6/10 - Agree (1) Disagree (1)

This game makes it possible to easily play one of the three provided Westwood games against bots or real players. There are many channges to gameplay balance and some new features. The downside of this game is, that it plays much faster as the original games, in time and money aspects. Games are often won / lost in 5 to 10 minutes which takes out the exploring, evolving and long time fighting part of the original series. All in all it's 6/10 for me therefore.
