Open-Source reimplementation of Westwood’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert game engine, updated to use the hardware acceleration of modern video cards using OpenGL and OpenAL for sound playback. It runs natively on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The game was designed with modifiability in mind, but is not identical to the original. Campaigns and mods made for the legacy game won't work out of the box.

The trick is that this map very tiny so our path-finder does not burn too much CPU even though the algorithms could need some tweaking. Also the rendering time is still 30% below the internal logic tick time so you can't feel any lag. Notice the batches which is above the scale. We flush the renderer for every sprite so this is bad in theory and someone might want to contribute a depth buffer patch here, in practice you won't notice this on modern hardware.

Some players use overbright colors on purpose by manually tweaking their settings.yaml file.
