Oot RP: Ocarina of Time RolePlay
Non-Profit fan-made game for enjoyment.

Oot RP is not competing with Packers Game, I'm mean this sincerely      -Zelda World Check here!
Both games are more different because OotRP is done faster allowing it to be a quick & imperfect game just to have access to Hyrule World while Zelda World adds every little detail experience into the game thus longer completion.

Promise to the community:

DLCCorrupt wrote:I'm promising all Zelda Fans who are reading this that I'll finish this game till I feel satisfied with the results (unless before). If Zelda World get to the point were all maps are playable and all promises full filled, it would be obvious that Zelda World will achieve higher then OotRP which results in ending OotRP.

All texture, sounds, and models are associated with Nintendo. Nintendo Logo

Play with friends?
I recently discovered that you Probably can't play on the master server (Oops, I can't host it yet [have slow internet anyways] need to find someone who can host later.) So I know another way.

OotRP works in LAN so if you download the program Hamachi, you can form multiple internet connection with friends into LAN (Local Area Network) and play on LAN together with friends. (PS. Haven't tried it yet but will mostly likely work and read the Hamachi documents how to use it, because I don't have the time to explain)

Thank Bolera_of_Fire for mentioning this. (Remember this is still all a beta)

I learned this very, very, recent (as in check post with effect) and learned that this goes against Nintendo's Intellectual Property (http://www.nintendo.com/corp/ippolicy.jsp).

States as follow:

Nintendo respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask users of Nintendo products and services to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in the US, the Electronic Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC) in the EU, and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, subscribers or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers of third party intellectual property rights. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to Nintendo products and services and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement."

sorry for the inconvenience, but don't want to get sued for this mistake and this doesn't fit under "Fair Use" I did the research already.

I can confirm that there is going to be an Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 3DS.
Video: Youtube.com  (Japan though, possible that it will have multiplayer mode like they did with Super Mario 64 DS)

People discussed with a possible multiplayer mode here:

Again, sorry for the inconvenience, but OotRP is officially cease & desist!

I just remembered something when i was looking at this even though this is going to be a indie there was a LoZ mod made for halo pc version a few years ago it had Legend of Zelda characters and everything and used the actual weapons from the Legend of Zelda games and also stages from Legend of Zelda it was rather interesting i played it a couple of times on my friends comp. Keep up the good work and make it successful if you don't give up on it.

I only started on T3D Zelda World maybe a month and a bit ago? Those extra 2 years give or take are years of experience and learning, you want to do that in 2 months you've got another thing coming. By not doing something correctly you're only making your own situation worse and causing more problems then you think.

In my own "Slow" hast I have people crashing on loading in the pre-alpha, I can't wait to see how many errors and lag I'll see in your version which I actually tried before it was removed, I can't even spawn a 2nd area without intense lag.

Oh i wasn't going to respond but your problems from the loading screen is mostly a problem with direct x. That's my "install first" because if you don't have the latest, it crashes on loading. Just a hunch though. (I tried it on multiple computers)and newer versions reduce lag, that's why i can play on 4 maps all together without even one lag but my pc is very strong so who knows? (hope this helps!)

Dunno, bro I have a computer from 2007 with a HD 4600 series ATI. I tried a stress test with ZW by placing 25 Hyrule fields all on screen, got around 19-21 fps.

Your right, I recently tested it out by adding 25 maps and it lagged. (Unfortunately I'm doing 20 maps) I found a possible solution though. Have you heard the term "Visible Distance"? Its were an object, terrain, and etc, can be viewed from a set maximum distance, so you won't have a visible tree a thousand feet away on the game thus reducing lag.

Or you know you can use fog, though fog is broken in Advanced Lighting.

I say good idea and that's what I proposed but there is one major difference. I do mine to fast and he does his way to slow because we both do our projects differently. He gets it perfect and I just want to play online with friends in Hyrule world very quickly whether its perfect or not. Good Idea though, who knows, it might happen but the chances are very(xgoogle) low.
