Oot RP: Ocarina of Time RolePlay
Non-Profit fan-made game for enjoyment.

Oot RP is not competing with Packers Game, I'm mean this sincerely -Zelda World Check here!
Both games are more different because OotRP is done faster allowing it to be a quick & imperfect game just to have access to Hyrule World while Zelda World adds every little detail experience into the game thus longer completion.

Promise to the community:

DLCCorrupt wrote:I'm promising all Zelda Fans who are reading this that I'll finish this game till I feel satisfied with the results (unless before). If Zelda World get to the point were all maps are playable and all promises full filled, it would be obvious that Zelda World will achieve higher then OotRP which results in ending OotRP.

All texture, sounds, and models are associated with Nintendo. Nintendo Logo

Play with friends?
I recently discovered that you Probably can't play on the master server (Oops, I can't host it yet [have slow internet anyways] need to find someone who can host later.) So I know another way.

OotRP works in LAN so if you download the program Hamachi, you can form multiple internet connection with friends into LAN (Local Area Network) and play on LAN together with friends. (PS. Haven't tried it yet but will mostly likely work and read the Hamachi documents how to use it, because I don't have the time to explain)

Thank Bolera_of_Fire for mentioning this. (Remember this is still all a beta)

I learned this very, very, recent (as in check post with effect) and learned that this goes against Nintendo's Intellectual Property (http://www.nintendo.com/corp/ippolicy.jsp).

States as follow:

Nintendo respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask users of Nintendo products and services to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in the US, the Electronic Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC) in the EU, and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, subscribers or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers of third party intellectual property rights. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to Nintendo products and services and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement."

sorry for the inconvenience, but don't want to get sued for this mistake and this doesn't fit under "Fair Use" I did the research already.

I can confirm that there is going to be an Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 3DS.
Video: Youtube.com (Japan though, possible that it will have multiplayer mode like they did with Super Mario 64 DS)

People discussed with a possible multiplayer mode here:

Again, sorry for the inconvenience, but OotRP is officially cease & desist!

Play both zelda games and you'll see an immediate difference. Zelda World isn't a MMO, Packer has been stressing that on his forums (Including mine to, mine isn't MMO).

I don't suppose you need a texture artist do you? I can give you some samples if you like.

I have to agree with that, I do have Hi-Def textures already, but I don't have time to work on the textures. I am planning different textures for different users (weak PC, standard PC and high performance PC)

Okay, so if you don't have time how about giving me a trial? My best area of textures i'd say is probably terrain etc, but i can do various other things too.

sure i don't see the harm, if you go into your OotRP directory (C:\Program Files\Oot RP\art\shapes\Map[ or just right click OotRP Icon and click "Open file location" then proceed to directory) then (with the given instructions) you'll see a whole bunch BMP non formatted pictures labeled as random numbers and letters (Its a mess now but will be fixed when I have maps done). Then find the terrain pictured then edit it too see what its like in the game. Send me few examples (Post them on imageshack and send the link/s) I really need to change the Terrain for Hyrule field because the graphic is too strong and it sort of flickers from a distance.

PS. To change Hyrule Fields textures, you need to go to Oot RP\art\map\Hyrule_World.

You can change any texture you want on he game, just show examples and possibly your textures will be in the next update.

Hahaha. I only have one game, and I have to throw it away because it's pirated. (Some jerk on ebay..)

Have you heard of DS fireline? It's apparently a card that can hold all of your games.. But I bought one that had Spirit Tracks on it.

Without the other card. >_<
