One Late Night is a short immersive horror-game experience, starring an unnamed graphic designer employee, working late one night at the office, until strange things start to happen.

The basic idea is that players who have been in similar situations, and worked with similar office jobs, will relate themselves to the game setting and scenario and become immersed. Even if you can't relate to the game storyline, you will still get a good experience. The storyline is presented with short monologues, displaying the thoughts of the player, as you need to perform certain tasks to proceed in the game to continue discover new clues about what's going on.

Use your surroundings to your advantage and hide under desks and in corners to avoid being taken by the ghost which haunts the office. Remember that the light will always be your friend. Survive the night and find as many clues as you can about the threat.

Freedomneirs! Welcome to another sweet Friday. Just like the rest we have four fantastic free indie releases for you all to consume!

First up we have SUPER CRATE LIFTING for Windows. Lift crates like a champ in this action packed comedy. SUPER CRATE LIFTING is about taking the best choices really fast and staying focused while handling various situations. Next is the highly engendered (read: extinct) Last March of the Dodos for Windows. It's politically incorrect Dodo extinction fun! Combine traps and environmental hazards to destroy masses of Dodos before they escape! Watch them bounce around between the traps you strategically position before they explode in a poof of feathers. Earn in-game currency to purchase new traps and unlock new levels. Can you obliterate every single harebrained, loony bird using fewer traps and less resources than your friends?

Thirdly we have the spooky One Late Night for Windows, Mac and Linux. Finally we have Copycat for the Windows operating system. Copycat is a first person perspective exploration, "going through doors to continue". There isn't much of a story, but the game ends brutally or normally depending on the paths you choose. We play a character who joined to some weird art participation test which isn't interesting enough for player to care for.

This might be a bit of a surprise to BlackCurtainStudio, whenever I play the x86 (32-bit) version, i get the pink screen, but when i try the other versions (like i've seen multiple people say to do), the game doesn't even open, and my computer tells me itself that the version i'm trying to run is wrong.

May I ask how old your computer is and what version of Windows you are running?

I've had it for 5 years, it runs 32-bit Windows 7, with DirectX 11. I've tried the standard version and and DirectX 11 version of the game, they don't even launch, and display a message saying that neither of those can be run, because they're not the right version, the x86 (32-bit) version is the only one that actually launches, but i get pink screen.

the X86 version is for 32-bit Windows but is not DirectX 11 so it should technically work for you. The DX11 should also work if you have a DirectX 11 video card. Sorry that I can't be of much more help.

I come bearing news about my game, the screen goes pink, but i can still interact with the game, like i can still walk around and interact with things, i'm not sure if that helps at all but it's something.

It's all good, it might just be my computer, i'm gonna be getting an upgrade for everything on it, so it might work after that.

Hi, sorry for the vague explanation, let me attempt to clarify a little. In the office with the 3 monitors I pressed space to hide under the desk. My character began to crouch and go under the desk, but got stuck inside of the chair. I methodically went through every bound key trying to find a way to get unstuck but had no success. I reloaded my only save (the main characters office) and fell through the floor. It is possible that I might have been sitting in the office chair during the initial save. I'm guessing the altered z-axis from sitting upon loading a standing character threw off the collision and caused the model to fall through the map. That can be fixed with one conditional, luckily. As for getting stuck while hiding, not sure how you feel about a teleport button to return to the office.

Oh ok, this problem is new. I've never managed to get stuck in anything during my many play-throughs. I discovered a small mistake in the saving mechanism that can make you fall through the floor. This bug has been patched and I will be updating all of the download mirrors asap. Until then I suggest not saving your game while in a hiding spot under a table. The ability to save while under a table has been removed in the new update, as it wasn't suppose to be possible in the first place.

Excellent. I look forward to finishing my playthrough. I will send the conditions to replicate the bug through PM as it contains mild spoilers.

One Late Night... I had my eyes on that game for a while (like 2-3 weeks) without having the balls to play it. Once I decided to do it, just once I opened the game I regreted doing that... That place the game is set in, is just creepy itself - an office with nobody in there, only you. Or that's what I thought at first... Then Robert and the Black Widow are introduced, and that made me say 'Woah'... The game consists of the two opposites - the good (Robert) and the evil (Black Widow). Both of them…

Very disappointing you think it is a cool horror game but you never know where you must go. There was not even a moment where he said "Hey I heard something in the toilet" maybe you would have thought so, "maybe I should check times in the toilet" but so thought you all the time "WTF what should I do???
You should install moments that will give you a few tips where you should go next.
