One Late Night is a short immersive horror-game experience, starring an unnamed graphic designer employee, working late one night at the office, until strange things start to happen.
The basic idea is that players who have been in similar situations, and worked with similar office jobs, will relate themselves to the game setting and scenario and become immersed. Even if you can't relate to the game storyline, you will still get a good experience. The storyline is presented with short monologues, displaying the thoughts of the player, as you need to perform certain tasks to proceed in the game to continue discover new clues about what's going on.
Use your surroundings to your advantage and hide under desks and in corners to avoid being taken by the ghost which haunts the office. Remember that the light will always be your friend. Survive the night and find as many clues as you can about the threat.

One Late Night... I had my eyes on that game for a while (like 2-3 weeks) without having the balls to play it. Once I decided to do it, just once I opened the game I regreted doing that... That place the game is set in, is just creepy itself - an office with nobody in there, only you. Or that's what I thought at first... Then Robert and the Black Widow are introduced, and that made me say 'Woah'... The game consists of the two opposites - the good (Robert) and the evil (Black Widow). Both of them…

I truly enjoyed my time with OLN. Sadly I couldn't figure out the story cause I know nothing from nothing about Linux. Stuff that's common knowledge such as typing cd home/me is something I would have never dreamed of.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, but less so that you had a hard time with the Linux terminal. It's extremely simplified for the game, but I guess I can't assume that every gamer is familiar with Linux :)
Sadly I never in all my life had the chance to learn a thing or two about Linux - mainly because I never had to use it. But do not worry, I don't hold a grudge against you now >)
By the way... I recently tweeted you about the fact that I am Let's Playing One Late Night on my humble YouTube channel.
Many big YouTubers have already done it, no doubt... But I am generally not a fan of their screaming and OMG WHAT IS THAT RGHRGHR RUSHING, DERP!!!! ... Jesus christ.
Instead I focus on the slow-paced approach (something that is certainly not for everybody). But I would feel honored if you could give it a watch one of these days.
Or whatever kind of system it is supposed to be.
I normally don't play games like this because i hate jump scares in video games, but i decided to give this a try anyway.
Had some performance issues aswell, used a 800*480 resolution and quality on fastest to make it playable and even then it had a few huge drops in framerate (for example when i picked up the android figure)
But my overall impressions;
Nice work on the atmosphere and the scripted events, made me jump quite a few times (Yes i'm very easily scared by horror games)
I'm glad i'm still alive lol, almost got a heart attack after i found the batteries and she suddenly was all up in mah face.
I found it to be a little rough gameplay wise, wasn't always sure where to go to trigger the next event so i found myself walking back and forth quite a bit.
I am now gonna uninstall this and never touch it again, and even though that sounds bad it's a good thing because it means you as a dev succeeded.
Great game. Here's part one of my Let's Play. I do not get the chance to finish.

Thank you for the video. If you are having problems with finishing the game you might wanna check out my walkthrough video Youtube.com
The only thing I hate is how slow it is on my computer. Not sure why, just seems really laggy.
Thanks for the feedback. If you experience lag you should try to change some settings in the options panel. If you lower the graphics quality you will increase the performance, especially if you are playing on a older computer.
