Omegalodon is a third-person multiplayer action game where players compete by attacking/defending the city. The Red Team is comprised of police and soldiers armed with an array of military vehicles and explosive weaponry. The Green Team is comprised of Omegalodon, a 100-foot shark monster, and the Enviros, equipped with a healing beam. The round will end if it is destroyed, the timer reaches zero, or if Omegalodon dies. Features: - Fully destructible environments - Dozens of drivable vehicles including helicopters, cargo ships, and jets - 30-minute round-based multiplayer - Dozens of simultaneous players - Story elements will full voice acting - Nine square miles of open world, spanning islands and cityscapes - A colorful, retro aesthetic

Omegalodon is go!

Do you like multi-player open worlds?
Do you like destructible environments?
Do you like giant monsters?

Have you dreamed of flying a helicopter into a shark amidst a nuclear blast, then ejecting at the last minute and landing through the sunroof of a pimped-out SUV blasting al capella rap music? Then Omegalodon is for you!

You can read FAQ here.

You can purchase here.

You can watch the trailer here.

North of Earth's premier story-based, multi-player, full-destructible, hyphenate-riddled action game is available now for USD 9.99, with a free demo for the spendthrifts out there. The culmination of more than a year's work by one deranged man (plus one very talented musician and one exceptional actress) will thrill you to the core until every cell in your bloodstream grows fins and a powerful set of jaws.

But enough bravado.

No, not enough bravado. Check this out:

Could you please...In the name of my sanity, make a mute music button for the opening screen?!
Since this is an indie game, few people play it so there's a bit of down time between sessions for me. Which is okay, I do other things and then come back to the game when I find a stable server with enough people. It's a fun game so it's worth waiting ten minutes for a good hour long game session. That's completely okay, I'm fine with that. Each day more and more people hear about the game and it's a fun experience.
HOWEVER I don't want to listen to the same opening screen music over and over and over and OVER and OVER again! I've just been muting the game manually till I get into a game, but that's a bit of a hassle for my lazy fingers.
Please give me a mute music button.

No, you shouldn't.
Its a demo, you can get a feel for the game by playing the demo. For the full experience, and the ability to play as the game's namesake, you need to buy it.
If you got everything you wanted, what incentive would there be for you to give them money for their product? You want the giant dinosaur, pony up the 10 clams.

A brilliant concept, but requires a larger playerbase to provide a greater experience, that which will hopefully rise in the future.
