You may have noticed the lack of updates as of late - both here and on our site. I'm sad to announce that we've cancelled work on the project.

I could write a book of reasons why - one of our two programmers bailed and while attempting to regain control of the project we realized that our hearts frankly weren't in it anymore. The project had become dull an unexciting - working within the confines of an established franchise looses its novelty very quickly. The series itself is just getting rather old if we're being honest, and instead of spending another year or two stumbling through development we decided that enough was enough.

At this time, myself and another artist from the team are working on a new project - one we've created entirely by ourselves. We realize that without 'Halo' slapped on the cover of our game we'll loose a good majority of interest, which is always disheartening, but it's be a relief not having to piggyback off of an existing game to get attention. When we're ready to show it off, we'll create a new project page here on IndieDB (after closing down this project, of course. We won't 'bait and switch' our projects.) The game is still a 2D, sidescrolling shooter/platformer and will run on a refined and reworked version of OWaW's engine. We will also be including some of our custom content from OWaW (eg - the Shredder weapon, ability to teleport, enemies derivative from our Thrashers, ect.) A development blog we just put up today can be found here.

Lastly, I'd just like to thank everyone who's stuck with us this long and kept this project going as long as it has. I sincerely apologize that this had to turn out the way it has.

Here's to the future! - Appo

Brilliant! Following the same genre style aside from the Halo scene for our teams game, which we will have to get ModDB updated on.

Um if anyone wants to get the source i could give it to them but for a price.

well not really cause i still like this game but if you want the source i will give it to you but i am making it so you cant publish it only modify it and i will mess all of the scripts up
so you cant do anything with it

and ONLY IF TriBlox lets me release it

How did you even think for a moment we would sanction that?

It is also illegal to sell the source, Microsoft will sue your ***.

Oh, and, using the decompiler in the first place? Illegal too.

We do not take kindly to those doing these things. Anyone with Game Maker, with no skill at all, could make a spinoff of our game with what you - and others like you, have.

I just love random people on the internet, basically every single game or mod there is I have seen some jackass trying to give people something from the project or claim credit when he has no right to. (By the way this callmeclean from the site, just to let you know )
