Today, it has finally happened: Olvand was accepted for Desura! [You may remember] it originally was rejected (thank you, followers, for cheering me up with nice comments) but I was told to send more detailed information, which I did two weeks ago. A period of sending reminders from my side and no responses from their side followed, and, to be honest, I got a little grumpier every day I found my IN-box empty. But today, I finally received what I'd hoped for for so long: an approval, a little info, an activation link, AND an apology for the delay. Goodbye grumpiness, hello excitement :). Thank you, Desura!
This is my to-do list for now:
- Link Olvand's account system to Desura's. To be more precise: you need be able to activate an Olvand account from a Desura account (automatically?), and I want to build a single sign-on feature if possible.
- Make sure the server software can handle all accounts activated by Desura.
- Integrate Olvand's accolades into Desura, although I got the impression Desura accolades are not ready yet.
I expect this will all be ready in [never give programming time estimates ;) ], so the people who asked me if they could test can expect their invites pretty soon!
