Jayden, a First-year student at Bloodthorne Academy, is a boy quite unlike the rest. He receives abuse from the other students because of his differences to them. One fateful day leads to him becoming friends with Second-year student Mizuki. They journey together to study the beasts of the land; from small, vibrant fish to the great Sky Whales and Cloud Serpents, and by studying them, hope to find a way to benefit the people of the land with a greater understanding of biology.
