Nosferatu is a teambased multiplayer first person shooter. It involves roundbased (each player has 1 life round just like in the famous game counterstrike) only this game pits vampires vs slayers.

So after posting lots of twitter updates, and getting comments like "update without screenshots... dull" - I had to post some new screenshots :)
Development has been on/off alot lately, with larger gaps in the middle of the year. But lots of progress during the last months.
We are currently focusing on getting everything playtest worthy done, which resulted in me spending one weekend syncing all the weapons to sounds and adjusting thirdperson weapon positions.
All in all, the progress over the last week has been incredible.
Of course now and then we add some awesome stuff as well, as happened the other day with the stealth kills (aka fatalities from behind ;) Basically if a vampire succeeds in sneaking up to a slayer from behind, he is able to perform one of various awesome fatality like kills (i.e. heart rip out + eat).
At the moment me and Fragger are animating those kill sequences, however if an animator wants to help out -> contact me.
Anyways, enjoy the screenshots (all work in progress so the one or other thing might obviously need improving/fixing).

the light effect for eye adjustement is cool and all, but shouldn't it go the other way around... when you first step out it is darker and then lights up as your eyes adjust? it just seems to me that if you are in a lighted room and turn the light off, everything is pitch black but after several minutes your eyes adjust and you can start to see objects...
The engine video on your website looks awesome :o. Very impressive.
Oh yeah, I even got some email asking what I am doing with the content now :)
Did you fool anybody with that Nosferatu 40k stuff? I mean, really...
looks great :DDD
keep it up
Ive been checking your models over the last few months and Ive been really impressed with the quality. Congrats, really looking forward to this game.
And I just downloaded your sample MP3... I thought it was OK. I would say theres too much distortion (or whatever) on the drums, as they sound really weak...
Anyway, good luck with the game :)
the stunts will sure be awesome :D id love to see the vampires crawl on walls and jump like ninjas, similar to the underworld and blade movies. THAT will be fun. and demo with a great soundtrack will drag people into your mod too.
Alone_In_The_Dark brings up a good point. How will this be resolved?
Well the stunt system is limited to only basic dives and you cant do them all the time (like running and the stamina bar in other games).
The server can disable the stunts via the console, and we are going to see in the betatest how well what feature performs, and if it doesnt work, it will just be abandoned)
only thing that scares me is the stunt system for slayers. That has ended up blowing and making the gameplay gimicky and shatty in every mod that the mechanic has ever reared it's ugly head in.
You have been warned.
