I tried some paint on the face part, but it looked a bit strange. We might still try it on the 3D model though! Just experimenting with different ideas right now.

Thanks! Nope, no guns. We decided to make them drop bombs instead, since air units are stronger against armor units. Seemed to make more sense this way.

You don't have to make ALL Air Units stronger against armor units.

How our balance is currently set up, everything has it's counter. If we find that it isn't interesting or fun enough during more extensive play testing, we can always add in units with different balancing or tweak how some things work. But for now, we would like to keep the hierarchy how it is. Infantry units are good against air, air is good against armor, and armor is good against infantry. And Mechs are just all around good against everything. Once we get a demo out, and really get a good variety of units to spawn, we will see how it is working!

Would be a cool touch with the shark face, but as-is now, looks great!

Thank you! We will try a bit more shark face on the 3d version and see how it looks.

Description

Illustration for the Belgian unique air unit, the Dragonfly.

In WW1 Belgium's air force consisted mainly of privately owned planes. This is my take on a steampunk version of these aircraft. Equipped with dragonfly like wings, a front propeller, and anti-armor bombs, these speedy machines of the sky shouldn't be taken lightly.
