I have lost the stalker vibe with this game when they changed to stand alone actually. It looks amazing, but it doesn't look like the stalker universe any more.

Well, we should not judge it, at least it released...
By the way, i think this project was changed to standalone because of old engine issues and limitations...
P.S. cryengine is not so bad, it shows pretty good picture and requieres less resourses (Cryengine 2), in comparsion to others modern engines... It is interractive, has its own SDK and its modable...
