New World Order is an 'Action Realism' game not unlike Counter-Strike in game design and game-play, but the similarities end there, because NWO runs on the most "State Of the Art" engine (called DVA) that a realism fan (or any game fan for that matter) can currently lay their hands on. Stunning per-pixel effects, soft shadows, detailed physics, and a full scale first person perspective (you can look down and see you feet) are just a few of the things you'll notice in this game that is a render masterpiece of engine features, texture and level design art, dynamic lighting effects (yes they move and you can shoot them out), and physics (watch your spent shell cases bounce and roll down hill)... Buggy enough in its earliest iterations New World Order was very discouraging to both potential fans and reviewers that couldn't even get it running on their systems. But with the 1.42 release NWO is not only stable but runs with incredible speed for such a powerhouse...
