An action platformer that takes place in the universe of StarLaw. Over 25 creatures brought together in one world. Play as each species in an attempt to discover how the universe became contorted into New StarLaw. An original mythological fable of the future. The universe reborn by the doings of one man. An original story. An independent game. Passionately designed by one gamer! The game is being developed using the Unity Engine. Platforms for release have not yet been determined. However, PC/Mac, Ouya and any consoles possible is the goal. Developed for a single player experience, although I will be experimenting with interesting co-op element if there are not any technical limits.
Today, I'm publicly announcing the current development of New StarLaw. The game is still in the early stages of development. An Action Platformer created around a grand story also being written by myself.
Technical Stuff: The game is a 2DR (2 Dimensional Rail/Rotating) Platformer with a 3d world being built on the Unity Engine. Free Roaming Ai(Artificial Intelligence) is being used for just about all on the inhabitants in the game. Expect an unique story, sim like Ai and an open world environment designed with platforming principles. A combat system with lots of punch!
The game revolves not only around platforming but newly reimagined mythological species. There are over 27 species that will be playable and part of the story.
If all goes well I would like to release this game on PC/Mac/Linux(steam of course!) and Ouya Console.
